The path to Citizenship
About Me
My name is Eidhan Santana, I am 17 years old and I am a senior at SMSA. My name is a combination of the names Ethan and Aiden. I was born in Dominican Republic and lived there until I was 7 years old. I came to the United States in 2011 with my dad and my sister to have a better life, my mom didn't come with us due to some family issues. I am usually quiet and keep to myself but it is mostly because I don’t have anything to talk about. Since I was young I always loved playing video games especially nintendo games, my favorite was super mario world for the super nintendo. I also developed a love for reading throughout middle school and high school, my favorite series was the Percy Jackson series because it was the first book series that developed my love for reading. Last year my dad became a U.S citizen and I saw how difficult the process was, so that inspired me to want to help tutor others for the citizenship exam.
Mission Statement
My mission is to stay motivated as I go through life. Life can be pretty tough for a lot of people for many reasons which can make an individual not have any motivation for daily tasks, they may also put minimal effort in the things they do. By having a job or career that I really like can help me stay motivated to try my hardest and give it my best effort. Being motivated can also help me with personal goals like trying out a new instrument, working out, and learning a new language. That is why being motivated can help me be a better person in life and learn new things.
